Farhan Akhtar wants Saif Ali Khan for his next directorial movie, but because of some fee problem he dropped his idea and signed Akshaye Khanna for the lead role in the film.
Farhan had already announced about his film Voice from The Sky, which is based on the development of telecommunication system. Earlier Farhan had talked with Saif for the lead role in the film but his fee structure was so high that Farhan can not efford. So after this he approached Akshaye Khanna for the lead role who had already gave hit movies Dil Chahta Hai with him.
When Akshaye Khanna listen the script, he was so much impressed with it that he immediately gave his acceptance for the film.
The director wants to start the shooting of the film as soon as possible.
Currently Farhan Akhtar is giving his full concentration on the release of his film Rock On. In this film he himself plays the role of rockstar.
Let’s see whether ‘Rock on’ really rock the cinema or not?
