If everything goes as planned  Shahid Kapur and father Pankaj are all set to work together in a script written by Rajkumar santoshi.  Santoshi reportedly expressed his eagerness to work with the two and said he has already had talks with Shahid and Pankaj and. Shahid confirms that, “Yes, Santoshi is williang  to cast me and my father together. But it is too early to disclose any thing right now.”
Shahid said that other filmmakers also expessed the idea of casting the father-son pair jointly but some how the plan doesn’t come to end.  Every actor would love to work with an experienced director like Santoshi   The fact that he wants to cast my father with me, is like an icing on the cake. I always dreamt of working with my father and Santoshi’s idea of casting both of us is just dream come true for me.
He said that his father had always been role model for me. “I think he is one of thebest  actors we have  in the industry. All his performances have made an impact on me be it a carrot chewing Karamchand or underworld don Abbaji in Maqbool. He said it would be privilege for every son to work with his father in same film.
